I needed a vacation…

In December we had some really cold temps here in Arkansas. One of the reasons I love it here is because there are so few cold days but when they show up, they’re still hard on me. This year though, the cold came while my wood stove was out of commission which meant my house was cold (I still had heat but not the full warmth of the wood stove). Anyway, between the cold and grey skies, I was feeling unmotivated and blah. I kept thinking I’d really love to be sitting on a beach right now… Oh wait! I’m an artist! let me just paint myself a beach! While a painted beach isn’t quite the same as a real one, it certainly did the job to trick my brain for a few days.

So check this out! My tropical beach.

Tropical Breezes - A handpainted wall-paper mural.

The full process write up will be available later this week in my Members only Blog and the HD video I made of the moving mural is already there. OR you can check them both out in my shop. Mural HD Video

The beach really did help to lift my spirits and move me towards some other new projects. You’ll here more about those soon ;-)
